State Assemblyman Mike Feuer (D-Los Angeles) was hospitalized Monday after the car he was driving was hit by a truck.
Feuer, who is running for city attorney, was driving to see Jackie Lacey take her oath as Los Angeles County district attorney at the Galen Center when the truck driver ran a red light and hit Feuer’s Prius, said his campaign spokesman, Dave Jacobson.
The extent of his injuries is unknown, Jacobson said, but they were non-life-threatening.
Feuer’s ‘campaign is not going to miss a beat. We do expect a full and speedy recovery,’ Jacobson said.
The truck’s driver was not identified.
