Detectives still trying to determine motive in Northridge slayings

Detectives are scouring the scene of a shooting that left four people dead in a Northridge neighborhood early Sunday.

Los Angeles police received a call of shots fired about 4:25 a.m. in the 17400 block of Devonshire Street, authorities said. Officers arrived to find four adult victims lying face-down outside the two-story house.

The gender or ages of the victims were not immediately known.

No clear motive has been established for the shootings and no gun was found at the scene, police said.

The crime scene has been cordoned off as the investigation continues.
