Ah, those were the days. According to an article on singles-only housing, you couldn’t rent at the South Bay Club Apartments in Torrance unless you were unmarried, 21 to 35 years old and ‘reasonably attractive.’
Little did they know that the singles-living-fun wouldn’t last, thanks to changing attitudes -- not to mention anti-discrimination laws.
