DINNER AT CLOONEY’S
One hundred and fifty wealthy Democrats joined President Obama for dinner at George Clooney’s Studio City house, including Robert Downey Jr., Tobey Maguire, Barbra Streisand and Jeffrey Katzenberg, reports The Times. Wolfgang Puck catered the dinner, which was expected to raise $15 million.

Incanto owner Mark Pastore condemns comments made by John Burton, chairman of the California Democratic Party, when he responded to a proposal from 100 chefs to reconsider a ban on foie gras. ‘I’d like to sit all 100 of them down and have duck and goose fat -- better yet, dry oatmeal -- shoved down their throats over and over and over again,’ Burton told the San Francisco Chronicle.
