#weekendeats hits a milestone, thanks to YOU

Each Monday morning, we put off the beginning of the workweek just a little bit longer by talking about -- what else? -- what we ate over the weekend and swapping photos. Well, we hit a milestone this morning: As of this writing, we had 99 reader photos submitted to this photo gallery. That’s no small feat.
A heartfelt thanks to everyone who participates each week and takes the time to share their photos so that readers who can’t tweet up on Monday morning can still look at (and drool over) everyone’s photos.
#weekendeats is my single favorite part of the week!
Wondering how can you play along? Join us on Twitter @latimesfood bright and early Monday mornings. We use #weekendeats as our hashtag. You can also chime in on Facebook. All the better if you have a photo, so we can feature it on the blog: This week’s photo, of French macarons, some filled with spiced ginger caramel, some filled with chestnut cream, is courtesy of My Man’s Belly. (Follow on Twitter @mymansbelly). You know you want to make it, so click here for the recipes and some mildly risque relationship chatter.
