Steve Buscemi won the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards on Sunday for outstanding performance by a male actor in a drama series for his role as a 1920 gangster kingpin in ‘Boardwalk Empire.’

It’s his first SAG award ever. Two weeks ago, he won the Golden Globe for his performance in HBO series. He was competing in this category against Bryan Cranston for ‘Breaking Bad,’ Michael C. Hall for ‘Dexter,’ Jon Hamm for ‘Mad Men’ and Hugh Laurie for ‘House M.D.’

The awards — which dole out honors in both TV and film —are being held at the Shrine Exhibition Hall and telecast live simultaneously on TNT and TBS. A win in the feature film categories is especially coveted: It can be a precurser to Oscar gold. We’ll carry all the breaking news and headlines here on Awards Tracker.
