Julianna Margulies won the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday for outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series for her role in ‘The Good Wife.’ It’s her second consecutive win for playing an attorney in the CBS series.
She was competing against Glenn Close for ‘Damages,’ Mariska Hargitay for ‘Law & Order: SUV,’ Elisabeth Moss for ‘Mad Men’ and Kyra Sedgwick for ‘The Closer.’
The awards — which dole out honors in both TV and film — are being held at the Shrine Exhibition Hall and telecast live simultaneously on TNT and TBS. A win in the feature film categories is especially coveted: It can be a precurser to Oscar gold. We’ll carry all the breaking news and headlines here on Awards Tracker.
