Gossamer boutique in Venice celebrates first Friday this week with a shopping event to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Cocktails will be served and 10% of all sales have been pledged to the foundation. L.A. Montblanc
The purveyor of luxury watches, writing implements and accessories has opened a new store in the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. The Montblanc boutique is on the luxury level of the mall, at 8500 Beverly Blvd. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Alon Shalom
Celebrity hairstylist Alon Shalom has opened an eponymous Moroccan-themed salon in West Hollywood. Before moving to Los Angeles, Shalom, who is of Moroccan and Israeli descent, was based in Israel.
