Looking to update your personal beauty closet? Here are a few of our favorite brand-new products — each road-tested for real-world worthiness.
Malin + Goetz Mojito lip balm, $12.
This mojito-scented balm is actually a butter-smooth clear gel that adds a hint of shine while hydrating lips. It’s glossy enough to wear sans lip gloss and moisturizing enough to slick on before bedtime as a softening treatment. Bonus: It’s color- and paraben-free.
Rodin by Recine Luxury Hair Oil, $60.
This tiny vial of eight essential oils — including apricot, sunflower, juniper and sweet almond — adds shine and texture to tresses without weighing them down. Experiment with three ways to use it: as a supplement to your conditioner or as a styling aid on wet or dry hair. The company says regular use will help cut down on product buildup.
NARS Blush/Bronzer Trio, $55.
NARS has combined three of its most popular blush hues -- Orgasm (a pretty pink), Laguna (a dark metallic bronze) and Albatross (a light golden sheen) -- to create a super summer cheek palette. Add a little more pink for an exercise-induced glow or a bit more bronze for steamy nights out.
