Paul & Joe packs a stylish crowd into new Robertson Boulevard boutique

Sharing her happy and whimsical wares with the West Coast, designer Sophie Albou’s French-based line Paul & Joe and its new boutique on Robertson Boulevard packed in a festive and stylish crowd Thursday night during an in-store shopping event.

Shoppers got a first look at the fall 2010 line, which was freshly hung on racks. Vibrant floral prints, baby animal graphics and feminine frills (all tell-tale details of the women’s line) were present through the fall collection, and the upbeat nature of the brand seemed to sit well with the L.A. crowd who perused the clothes as well as makeup packaged in paper printed to look like a few of the floral dresses in the line.

Although Albou was not in attendance, her mother was, and like a good hostess, she welcomed guests and family friends who came out to support the store.
