Paris Fashion Week: From Las Vegas ‘Hangover’ to Louis Vuitton front row

The first day of Paris Fashion Week brought an unexpected surprise to the front row: Bradley Cooper, one of the hilarious cast members of ‘The Hangover.’
In town to do press for the film (known as ‘Very Bad Trip’ in France and ‘Una Notte da Leon,’ which translates as ‘A Night as Lions’ in Italy), he was invited to the show, turning up at the show kitted out in LV gray trousers, white dress shirt with a tone-on-tone jacquarded monogram logo and black nylon zip-up jacket (which we’re guessing was also LV).
‘I’ve been to maybe one show a long time ago,’ he told me. ‘But I recently saw that Valentino documentary and said to my agent, if I get invited to any fashion shows I want to go!’ Cooper said there was one thing that caught him up short about the fashion show format: ‘How fast the shows are over. ‘It’s done in like minutes.’
After the show was over, we asked Cooper if there was anything from Paul Helber’s collection (one that drew inspiration from New York City bike messengers), and he singled out a prune-colored, washed-down, double-face calfskin biker jacket.
May we suggest amping up the style quotient of ‘The A-Team’ movie he told us he’s got in the works? ‘I play [Lt. Templeton] Face[man Peck],’ he said.’I’m definitely a leather jacket guy -- but on the show that was Murdock, not Face.’
